Opening Doors to History
For over 35 years, I’ve been making history more accessible to more people. I’ve done this by recreating more than twenty historic interiors, designing many exhibitions and displays, researching and writing over a hundred history books and guidebooks and providing copy and images for online projects.
My qualifications
So I have all the usual high-end academic qualifications. But my aim is to make history understandable and enjoyable to a non-academic audience, without ever dumbing-down or sacrificing absolute accuracy and authenticity.
